Standing for dignity and compassion at Waiwananiwas Foundation, Thailand
As part of our CSR efforts in Thailand, the Apar team visited the Waiwananiwas Foundation, a home for elderly residents—many of whom have been abandoned by their families and face significant health challenges.
Across two visits, our volunteers spent time listening to their stories, sharing companionship, and engaging in simple activities and celebrations that brought smiles and comfort. These moments reinforced the importance of empathy, dignity, and human connection.
Through initiatives like these, we continue to stand for care, compassion, and community—ensuring no one feels forgotten.
Spreading care and companionship at the senior happiness centre, Dubai
Oue Dubai team visited the Senior Happiness Centre, a space dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of elderly community members through care, engagement, and emotional well-being.
The team spent meaningful time connecting with the seniors—sharing conversations, laughter, and moments of warmth. From offering companionship to distributing food items and essential supplies, the visit highlighted the power of human connection in bringing comfort and joy.
This initiative reinforced our belief that small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference, especially when they are rooted in empathy and care.
Bringing mid-autumn cheer to seniors at bright hill evergreen home, Singapore
In the spirit of togetherness and celebration, Apar Technologies partnered with Hope Worldwide (Singapore) to bring Mid-Autumn Festival cheer to the residents of Bright Hill Evergreen Home.
Our volunteers spent the day engaging with seniors through interactive activities, conversations, and festive celebrations that reflected the warmth and joy of the season. Thoughtful gestures, shared smiles, and meaningful interactions helped create an atmosphere of inclusion and belonging for the residents.
This initiative was a heartfelt reminder that festivals are not just about celebration, but about connection—especially for those who value companionship and care the most.
Extending healthcare access through a community medical camp, India
The Apar India team partnered with BMS Hospital, Bangalore, to organize a medical camp in a village near the city, extending essential healthcare services to residents with limited access to regular medical check-ups.
The camp provided comprehensive health screenings, diagnostic tests, and doctor consultations, enabling individuals—particularly family breadwinners—to better understand their health and take timely action. In addition, an awareness session on women’s hygiene was conducted, focusing on menstrual health, personal hygiene practices, and the importance of regular health assessments. Hygiene kits were distributed to support awareness and accessibility.
This initiative reflected our commitment to promoting preventive healthcare and empowering communities to take charge of their well-being.
Building sustainable learning spaces for orang Asli children, Malaysia
In partnership with Ignition Lab, the Apar Malaysia team participated in a meaningful CSR initiative by crafting classroom chairs from recycled timber for students of Orang Asli Primary School, Bumbun, Carey Island.
Through a hands-on woodworking workshop that also fostered team bonding, volunteers transformed recycled materials into functional furniture that directly supports children’s learning environments. Knowing that these efforts would contribute to better classroom experiences made the initiative especially rewarding.
This activity beautifully combined sustainability, education, and collaboration—turning recycled resources into tools for learning and joy.
